Do you live in Canada Emily? if not then I didn't know there are Shopper's in the U.S. (I'm guessing you live in the U.S. because you mentioned Walgreens) Fortunately we do have good health care and free if not cheap birth control. Can't you go into a sexual health clinic and grab some condoms in the meantime? You should be able to go into one and talk to them about going on the pill as soon as possible and they should prescribe you birth control pills
