Someone told my enemy I like this guy...?

I don't exactly know why we started to hate each other. We were like best friends. But someone told her I like a guy that shes friends with. I know that he used to like me too because last semester when we had a class together he told me and made signs obvious. Today on Facebook she said she found out and said stuff like hes scared of me, hates me and never wants to talk to me again. I tried to talk to him but all he did was say "Can't talk" Or "Brb" and never came back. Him and my enemy are friends. Do you think he really hates me?
